Learning Environment
Our Foundation Phase classrooms are active, busy places. The children work in focus 'bubble groups and independently in the areas. We aim to create an inviting learning environment and encourage the pupils to care for their peers and look after their classrooms. BLP (Building Learning Power) is an approach that is well used across the school and also Pupil Voice is central to our planning of activities and how the school is organised.
In KS2 during 'Theme' activities again the children work in focus bbble groups and there is always an independent group working on Missions - a time when pupils can use the skills taught independently to complete set tasks.
